Zusammenfassung:Previously abstracted from original as item 8310-6.1-0476Y. A method was developed for calculation of fatigue endurance distribution by means of statistical modeling of the Paris equation parameters. The method was applied successfully in the case of notched D1 Al alloy strip. At probabilities of P = 0.001-0.0005, the error in endurance determination by the calculation method is as high as plus/minus 50%. At P = 0.5-0.05, the error is < approx 14%. 6 ref.--X-ref.
