Zusammenfassung:Results of elevated strain rate tests on Ni-base-alloys are reported. High values of toughness shown by test results are due to relatively high plasticity of Ni-base alloys in accelerated deformation as compared with the low plasticity at standard deformation rates. When the testing temperature is raised to 700 or 900/sup 0/C, the plasticity decreases while the toughness remains the same as the value at 20/sup 0/C. (JRD)
