Decomposition of an organophosphorus material in a silent electrical discharge

An organophosphorus compound, C/sub 7/H/sub 16/FO/sub 2/P, was reacted with air in a silent ac discharge. This paper discusses the observed fragmentation and products of the reaction using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry.
