Zusammenfassung:37 Wheat samples from biological cultivation have been analysed after milling by solid sampling Zeeman Graphite Furnace AAS (GFAAS) for their cadmium content. Calibration was performed by using an aqueous reference solution. Accuracy has been checked by analysis of the NBS certified reference material 1567 wheat flour. The cadmium contents found were relatively low and are all significantly below the limit of 0.1 mg/kg for cadmium in wheat proposed by the Federal Health Agency (Bundesgesundheitsamt)
