Zusammenfassung:The possibility of a tentative assessment of the bond energy between the adsorbate and dislocations on the surface of a metal was considered in terms of the traditional approach based on the use of continuity concepts and the free electron approximation with due regard to the elastic and electronic characteristics of the metal. An analysis of the limitations of the approximation is given.
