Zusammenfassung: | This technique is an alternative approach to the previously described sodium biphenyl-reverse extraction-AIF molecular absorption spectrometric procedure for determination of organic fluorine in blood serum. The reverse extraction step for separation of fluoride from aqueous extracts, following cleavage of the CF covalent bond with sodium biphenyl, has now been replaced by the calcium phosphate adsorption technique. The overall procedure is now far less labor intensive and slightly more rapid than before. Recoveries of 0.02, 0.04, and 0.06 μg F in 20 μl serum samples are 100%. The results obtained by the new and previous procedures are similar. Several hundred blood samples have been successfully analyzed by the new procedure. |
