Excess molar heat capacities and excess molar volumes of {x1CH3(CH2)5CH3 + x2 CH3C(CH3)2CH2CH(CH3)CH3 + x3 CH3C(CH3)2OC2H5 + (1 - x1 - x2 - x3 )C2H5OH} (l) and of all the corresponding binary mixtures were determined using a Picker flow calorimeter and a vibrating-tube densimeter. The experimental quaternary results are compared with the values calculated from the binary results using Colinet's equation and an extended Kohler's equation.
