Zusammenfassung:Winter activity of a guild of lizards in The Cape region (Baja California Sur peninsula, Mexico) was studied during October–March 1993. Adults of Uta stansburiana, Urosaurus nigricaudusand Cnemidophorus hyperythrusand juveniles of Callisaurus draconoidesmaintained some activity during the entire period although with low numbers of individuals. Over 70% of observations corresponded to adult individuals. The warm winter of the area and small body size may favour the lack of total hibernation in these species.
