Zusammenfassung: | An engineering application model to calculate two‐phase bubbly flows is developed on the basis of the equations of the two‐fluid model. With the used assumptions, the momentum and energy equation of the gas phase are always satisfied, and one has to solve only the continuity equation of the gas phase. The modeling of gas‐liquid interaction will also be discussed. The simplified model is verified by comparison to an experimental investigation of a bubble column. |
