Zusammenfassung:Six sesquiterpenoids were isolated from a methanol extract of Curcuma aeruginosa rhizomes by using various chromatographic separations. Their structures were elucidated as pyrocurzerenone (1), dehydrochromolaenin (2), curzeone (3), linderazulene (4), curzerenone (5), and 8,12‐epoxy‐1 (10),4 (15),7,11‐germacratetraen‐6‐one (6) by extensive NMR spectroscopic analysis as well as comparison with the reported data. This is the first report of isolation of compounds 1, 2, 4, and 6 from C. aeruginosa.
