Zusammenfassung: | Organic Photovoltaics
Bulk heterojunction active layers (left) in organic photovoltaics comprise random nanoscale p‐, n‐type and mixed domains, providing efficient excitons dissociations but encountering recombination of transported electrons and holes. While p‐i‐n active layers (right) consist of mixed (i) layers surrounded by the p‐ and n‐layers, perpendicular to the device plane, creating direct pathways for efficient charge transport after dissociation.
