Zusammenfassung: | An efficient and straight forward synthesis of 2‐substituted benzo[d]thiazole derivatives has been accomplished using a catalyst combination of p‐toluenesulfonic acid (PTSA) and CuI through one‐pot condensation reaction of 2‐aminothiophenols and β‐oxodithioesters in acetonitrile at 80 °C. Simple experimental procedure, good to excellent yields, mild reaction conditions and broad substrate scope are the salient features of the present protocol.
Synthesis of 2‐substituted benzo[d]thiazole derivatives is accomplished by employing 10 mol % of p‐toluenesulfonic acid (PTSA) and 20 mol % of CuI from 2‐aminothiophenols and β‐oxodithioesters in acetonitrile at 80 °C. Mild reaction conditions, good yields, and broad substrate scope are some of the additional features of the protocol. |
