Zusammenfassung: | The black colored bank in the back plane of OLED provides not only fine pixels but also high outdoor visibility due to prevention the reflected extraneous light from the lower metal electrode. It has been applied to polarizer‐free panels and commercialized. Lower reflectance of black bank is important for high performance in polarizer‐free panel and many studies are in progress. We present a novel compositional black bank containing a tetraaza porphyrine dye (TAP) with high optical density. The TAP dye shows strong absorption near 550 nm and low reflectance, improving outdoor visibility of display. |
