Interhemispheric transport of air in the lower troposphere over the western Indian Ocean
Equatorial cross‐sections of monthly mean meridional flow in the lower troposphere over the western Indian Ocean have been prepared for January and July. These sections have allowed new estimates to be made of the mean transport of air across the Equator in the area.
