Zusammenfassung: | A kind of lightweight metal‐based magnetostrictive FeCo/AlSi composite with twisted FeCo wires was fabricated by Fumio Narita and co‐workers, see article number 2000281. The twisted design for the FeCo wires, combined with structure–thermal treatment finite element analysis, well demonstrates its merits to obtain a greater energy‐conversion performance. This work not only provides insights into the mechanism responsible for the mechanical–magnetic energy conversion but also offers a particular design concept for further improving the magnetostrictive properties or energy‐harvesting performance. |
