Zusammenfassung: | The peculiarities of neutron diffraction by multilayer structures, which are used in neutron monochromators and polarizers, are investigated in the presence of an alternating magnetic field. Deviations from the mirror reflection law take place due to the appearance of neutrons with a normal component of momentum equal to \documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}\begin{document}$\sqrt {\chi ^2 \pm 2m\omega /\hbar}$\end{document}, where ω is the frequency of external field and χ the normal component of an incident particle. Expressions for respective reflection and transmission coefficients, R± and T±, that characterize processes with change of neutron energy, are obtained and analysed.
