Zusammenfassung: | A substantial amount of flue gas pollutants (nitrogen oxides, volatile organic compounds, elemental mercury, and sulfur dioxide) are produced as human industrial activities increases. This article critically reviews the applications of non‐thermal plasma (NTP) technology and catalysts for the abatement of different flue gas pollutants. In addition to evaluating the effect of the combined application of non‐thermal plasma and catalysts, this study also delves into the cost‐effectiveness analysis of the catalysts, thereby providing a comprehensive solution and provides guidance for future practical applications. Furthermore, the limitations and future applications of non‐thermal plasma technology are also examined in this review, which provide recommendations for future research directions. |
