Zusammenfassung:Some polyalkadienes (polyisoprenes and polybutadienes) have been modified along the macromolecular backbone by hydroboration‐hydroxylation followed by reaction with phosgene. These polyalcohols and new polychloroformates in reaction with pharmaceuticals such as quinine, cholesterol, and testosterone, lead to new polycarbonates of potential biomedical interest.
