Zusammenfassung:A potential strategy to prepare thermoplastic elastomeric ethylene/long chain α‐olefin (LCO, carbon number > 30) copolymers via ethylene alone is offered in this work by using a thermostable catalyst ArN=C(C12H8)C=NAr)NiBr2 (Cat.1, Ar = 2,6‐diisopropylphenyl, C12H8 = acenaphthene‐1,8‐diyl) at high reaction temperature (Tp ≥ 60 °C).
