Zusammenfassung: | An 80‐year‐old man diagnosed with recurrent lung squamous cell carcinoma had complaints of an erosion formation in the lower lip 4 weeks upon nivolumab administration which resulted in the discontinuation of nivolumab. At the first visit, oral candidiasis due to inappropriate handling of the patient's denture was observed. We administered antifungal medicine and treated the patient with a new dental prosthesis. As a result of a biopsy, a pathological diagnosis of oral mucositis similar to lichen planus was obtained. We successfully treated the patient with a beclomethasone spray. The mucosal erosion re‐epithelialized, and pain in the oral cavity completely disappeared. |
