N′,O,O′-triacetyl-N-caffeoylputrescine: A new synthesis and mass spectrometry

Some puzzling features of a published mass spectrum of the title compound have been clarified by mass spectrometric study of a specimen prepared by a new route, by coupling O,O′‐diacetylcaffeoyl chloride with N‐monoacetylputrescine.
