Zusammenfassung: | Impact statement
The research conducted on the stocking of streams with hatchery‐produced fishes has profound implications for the restoration of native populations and the conservation of rare and endangered species. The study suggests that the success of stocking efforts might be limited by emigration rather than reduced survival. As a result, selecting optimal stocking locations, particularly in upstream reaches and during the species' reproduction season, could substantially improve the retention and establishment of stocked fish. |
