Simulated effects of imperfect sterile sport fish stocking on persistence of fertile fish in new exploited populations

Impact statement Agencies are often required to balance multiple interests. A simulation model was used to examine the potential consequences of imperfect sterile predator stocking as a means to reconcile angler desire for nonnative species with competing objectives in a region supporting few native sport fish. We generate objective information to guide discussions with stakeholders and stocking policies.
