Chemically induced polarisation in the decomposition of 2-methyltetrahydrofuran hydroperoxide
The CIDNP effects observed during thermal decomposition of 2‐hydroperoxide‐2‐methyltetrahydrofuran at 150° in C6H5COH are described. An A/E multiplet effect is observed on the CH3‐propyl protons of the propylacetate formed as a result of decyclisation of the methylfuryl radical.
