Carbon-13 NMR studies on catechol, phenol and benzene derivatives of biological relevance
Some biologically relevant derivatives of catechol, phenol and benzene were studied by 13C NMR spectroscopy. The 13C chemical shifts of the aromatic ring are discussed in terms of the polarizing ability of the substituents.
