An empirical propagation prediction model for urban street canyon environments at 6, 10, and 18 GHz
This Letter proposes site‐general models for urban high‐rise environments based on 6, 10, and 18 GHz measurements. We conducted a measurement campaign using 10‐ and 2‐m‐high omnidirectional antennas for transmitting (Tx) and receiving (Rx) sites, respectively. This Letter reports the path loss and t...

Zusammenfassung: | This Letter proposes site‐general models for urban high‐rise environments based on 6, 10, and 18 GHz measurements. We conducted a measurement campaign using 10‐ and 2‐m‐high omnidirectional antennas for transmitting (Tx) and receiving (Rx) sites, respectively. This Letter reports the path loss and the parameters of the alpha‐beta (AB) and close‐in (CI) models. This Letter also shows the simulation model and its results. The proposed model would be useful for predicting electromagnetic fields located in real environments, and for planning cellular communication services. |
