Zusammenfassung:Effective and efficient publishing and searching for Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) Web services is important for the success of Web services. Traditional approaches such as index, thesaurus, and classification have historically dominated information representation and organization; however, they have some limitations. Ontology‐driven knowledge organization [An ontology‐driven knowledge organization approach] is considered one of keys to the next generation of knowledge management applications because ontology provides structure and meaning to data. This research examines how ontology‐driven knowledge organization could provide benefits to current UDDI Web services.
