Zusammenfassung: | Cellulose and chitosan hydrogen phthalates of various degrees of substitution were readily prepared from polysaccharides when reacted with phthalic, nitrophthalic and trimellitic anhydrides in presence of 4‐dimethylaminopyridine in dimethyl sulfoxide/triethylamine as reaction medium. Cellulose requires at least one equivalent of phthalic anhydride to dissolve entirely. |
