Furanoid Fatty Acids and Lipids

The furanoid fatty acids and furanoid lipids are reviewed, present in nature in testes and liver of many fishes, or produced through autoxidation or photo‐oxidation of linoleic and linolenic acids. Some recent working hypotheses are examined and analyzed about the bio‐synthesis of furanoid fatty acids in fishes.
