Rugged Sensor Systems Lay a Solid Foundation for Welding Processes: Online in‐process monitoring and full traceability of high‐volume production

Especially where processes are part of high‐volume production, the use of sensors is becoming ever more important. On the one hand, checks integrated into the process save time, since no additional work cycles are needed. On the other hand, certain processes are not possible at all without sensor systems. The devices used here have to be easy to integrate, simple in operation, and robust beyond question.
