Zusammenfassung: | The present study was undertaken to obtain a quantitative evaluation of the rheological properties of representative bases; the effects of variables such as thermal history and formulation changes upon theological properties were investigated. A modified viscometer is described and its application to the study of semisolid bases is illustrated. The importance of rheology in pharmaceutical development and control is also emphasized in the report. |
