The Essential Oil of Amphiachyris Dracunculoides (DC) Nutt.

Steam distillation of the flowering tops of Amphiachyris dracunculoides (DC) Nutt. yielded 1.6 per cent of an essential oil. Physical and chemical properties of the oil are given. The oil has been fractionally distilled and the components investigated.
