Zusammenfassung:	A series of 12 methacrylate esters and methacrylic acid was investigated for activity upon the isolated, perfused rabbit heart. Each compound was dissolved in the perfusing fluid and tested at concentrations of 1:1000, 1:10,000, and 1:100,000 (v/v). All compounds reduced heart rate and force of contraction at one or more of these concentrations, and most, but not all, of the compounds reduced coronary flow rate.
