Synthesis of carbon - 14 labeled 1-β -D-arabinofuranosylcytosine
The synthesis of carbon‐14 labeled 1‐β‐D‐arabixofuranosylcytosine and its hydrochloride salt is described. The products, preyared in four steps from barium carbonate‐ 14C, are labelea in the C‐2 position of the pyrimidine ring.
