Synthesis of Sugar-Amino Acid Conjugates via 2,3-Dideoxy-hex-2-enopyranos-4-uloses

Michael addition of amino acids to 5‐substituted 2,3‐dideoxy‐hex‐2‐enopyranos‐4‐uloses 1a–c afforded stereoselectively several sugar‐amino acid conjugates in good yield.
