A structural assignment to the positional isomers of bis‐galacto 3/4 and bis‐manno crown ethers 6/7 is not possible using spectroscopic data only. Crown others 3 and 6 with a 3/3′ and 2/2′ conjunction of the two sugar moieties are available rationally via the “half crowns” 11 and 13 and are thus identifiable. |
