Kinetic Investigation of a (6 + 4) Cycloaddition

Kinetics of the [6+4] Cycloaddition of tropone to cyclopenta‐1, 3‐diene were investigated. It was concluded that the mechanism of this cycloaddition is similar to that of the classic Diels‐Alder reaction.
