Zusammenfassung: | In order to discourage the insertion of polluting loads, suitable tariff policies should be adopted. A possible strategy is based on the comparison between the total active power and the active power at fundamental frequency and positive sequence. Digital Signal Processing techniques allow for the implementation of revenue meters able to measure both those quantities and any index based on them. This paper analyses the accuracy that can be expected in the measurement of both the ratio and the difference of the above powers. The results of numerical simulations confirm that the ratio measurement is suitable for revenue purposes even when the total and fundamental active powers differ for parts per thousands. |
