Zusammenfassung:An efficient and eco‐friendly method for the synthesis of pyrrolo[1,2‐a]quinoxalines is presented. Compared to previous methods, this protocol is transition‐metal‐free and only potassium iodide is required. A series of substituted 4‐phenylpyrrolo[1,2‐a]quinoxalines are obtained in moderate to good yields. This protocol offered an eco‐friendly and convenient method for the synthesis of pyrrolo[1,2‐a]quinoxalines. In this process, new C=N and C–C bond were formed in mild conditions. A series of pyrrolo[1,2‐a]quinoxaline derivatives were obtained in moderate to good yields.
