Zusammenfassung:SUMMARY In this paper, we propose a strategy for the design of the LCR filter in a series voltage compensator and investigate our method by performing simulations and experiments. In the proposed method, first, the inductance Lf is derived from the ratio of the maximum amplitude of the ripple current to the amplitude of the fundamental current, which is denoted as {%Irip}. Second, the capacitance Cf is derived from the ratio of the ripple voltage to the fundamental voltage. Third, the resistance R is determined from the rate of decrease of the carrier frequency component and the settling time.
