Kinetic Theory for the OCP Crystal
The problem of formulating a kinetic theory for systems with possible broken symmetry is considered. It is shown that to a large extent fluid and crystal phases can be treated on a common ground, with the primary differences occuring via the continuum fields of hydrodynamics or elasticity.
