Zusammenfassung:The Cover Feature shows a typical exotic wild beach contaminated by tons of plastic. The scuba diver represents the PI getting an idea of converting the used plastic (polylactide) cups into a green solvent for chemical reactions. As a result, ethyl lactate was for the first time tested as a solvent in olefin metathesis, showing full compatibility with a wide range of popular ruthenium catalysts in a rich substrate scope.
