Zusammenfassung:The Front Cover shows a turn‐on mechanism of fluorescence from porphyrin derivatives via release from polysaccharide to plasma membrane. Here, the butterflies and cage represent porphyrins and polysaccharides, respectively. Encapsulation of porphyrins using polysaccharides causes quenching of the fluorescence from the porphyrins. The interaction of the complex with the cellular membrane triggers the recovery of fluorescence from porphyrins after release from the polysaccharides. The turn‐on mechanisms are highly related to the expression of excellent photodynamic activity against cancer cell lines. More information can be found in the Full Paper by Atushi Ikeda et al.
