Zusammenfassung: | Dry desulphuration of combination power stations with coal gasification. Dry gas purification processes for combination power stations can raise the thermal efficiency by 1 to 4%. This increase in efficiency is due, on the one hand, to the higher heat content of the gases, and on the other hand to avoidance of loss of combustible components during wet scrubbing, the constant water vapour content, and the possibility of using low‐pressure steam, e.g. for drying the coal prior to gasification. The various possibilities of dry desulphuration are listed and wet and dry desulphuration compared in tabular form. A former comparison of investment and operating costs for a 600 MW combination power station proves positive for dry desulphuration. |
