ChemInform Abstract: Comprehensive Characterization of the Electronic Structure of U 4+ in Uranium(IV) Phosphate Chloride

Emerald‐green single crystals of U(PO 4 )Cl are prepared by chemical vapor transport in a temperature gradient of 1000 → 900 °C from a stoichiometric mixture of UP 2 O 7 , UO 2 , and ZrCl 4 .
