ChemInform Abstract: Design and Synthesis of 2‐Methyl‐7‐aminobenzoxazole as Auxiliary in the Palladium(II)‐Catalyzed Arylation of a β‐Positioned C(sp3)—H Bond

The direct Pd‐catalyzed site‐selective arylation of methylene C(sp3)—H bonds in aliphatic carboxylic amides is developed using 2‐methyl‐7‐aminobenzoxazole (Oxa) as an effective auxiliary.
