ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Black Material AgMn II 3 (Mn III 0.26 Al 0.74 ) (MoO 4 ) 5

AgMn II 3 (Mn III 0,26 Al 0,74 ) (MoO 4 ) 5 is prepared by solid state reaction of a 1:1:3:5 molar mixture of Al 2 O 3 , AgNO 3 , Mn(OAc) 3 ·2H 2 O, and (NH 4 ) 2 Mo 4 O 13 (porcelain crucible, 1143 K, 4 weeks).
