ChemInform Abstract: New Roles for Icosahedral Clusters in Intermetallic Phases: Micelle‐Like Segregation of Ca—Cd and Cu—Cd Interactions in Ca 10 Cd 27 Cu 2

The new intermetallic title compound is synthesized from a stoichiometric mixture of the elements (Ta tube, 1100 °C, 48 h, followed by annealing at 500 °C for 100 h).
