ChemInform Abstract: Preparation of W‐ and Mo‐Doped VO 2 (M) by Ethanol Reduction of Peroxovanadium Complexes and Their Phase Transition and Optical Switching Properties

Thermochromic W‐ and Mo‐doped monoclinic vanadium dioxide VO 2 (M) with various amounts of dopants is hydrothermally synthesized from aqueous mixtures of V 2 O 5 , H 2 O 2 , EtOH, and ammonium tungstate or ammonium molybdate (autoclave, 180 °C, 48 h) followed by calcination at 700 °C for 2 h.
