ChemInform Abstract: Iodine(III)-Mediated Cyclization of Unsaturated O-Alkyl Hydroxamates: Silyl-Assisted Access to α-Vinyl and α-(2-Silylvinyl) Lactams

A general route is developed to unsaturated O‐alkyl hydroxamate precursors which are subjected to a chemoselective oxidative cyclization process.
